Kich

The primary beast of burden for the folk of R’honas, divided into "betties" (females) and "bulls" (males) with males being larger than females. These shaggy-haired animals are a critical source of milk and tallow. They feed chiefly on grain and leaves with their broad, flat teeth. They are large and relatively docile in nature. Betties are particularly even tempered, usually compliant unless actively caring for live young. Bulls are naturally less compliant for service than betties and are highly competitive for the attention of betties, thus bulls are kept chiefly for breeding purposes. If a bull kich is born while a viable breeder is available, bull calves are used as food for the clan.
